Delaware's Southern Style Baby Back Ribs

Ingredients:
- 2 racks of baby back ribs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup paprika
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce

 

Instructions:
1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
2. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, black pepper, salt, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper to make the dry rub.
3. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs by sliding a knife under the membrane and then pulling it off.
4. Generously coat both sides of the ribs with the dry rub, pressing it into the meat.
5. Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down, and cook for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender. Flip the ribs occasionally.
6. During the last 15 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with barbecue sauce on both sides.
7. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
8. Serve the Southern-style baby back ribs with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
